Our mission is to reconnect women's mind, body & soul through the art of boudoir photography.
the GlamMarr® community is about so much more than sexy photos.
We connect women to each other via our online community. We host monthly meetups and events to grow and celebrate our community even further.
We are a sisterhood.
You do not need to be a client of GlamMarr® to join our amazing online community of women.
We accept everyone regardless of size, shape, age, race, religion or sexual orientation.
We work together to lift one another up. We offer advice. We give feedback. We play games. We make new friends. We do not judge.
We are an ear to listen. A shoulder to cry on. A pat on your back.
We work together to give back to our community. We promote small woman ran businesses. We promote and donate to charities.
We are a small ripple of positivity that is turning into a tsunami. Our group touches many lives in both minor and major ways everyday!
We help each other combat the negative stereotype and self perceived flaws that are holding us back from truly accepting ourselves.
Going into business for myself was the single most liberating decision I've ever made. I'm able to chase my dreams and help women in anyway I can!
And I'm not alone!
But where does boudoir photography fit into this idea? This concept of self love?
Are you struggling with poor body image & lack of confidence?
How a boudoir session can help
Are you tired of hating your body but not sure what to do about it? Do you want to see yourself in a new way? Ask yourself "Why am I here, on this page, reading this right now." A lot of you may answer that you are just curious or you're thinking about getting a gift for a loved one or maybe you're celebrating a milestone or documenting a time in your life to look back on.
Whatever the reason, the fact is that this experience is for YOU!
But wait! You may say this is for my Husband! Well, I'm positive that he will absolutely love the gift, however, you will be the one receiving the biggest gift of all: Self love. Self acceptance.
My goal is to help you find and fall in love with yourself again. Or maybe for the first time ever.
All too often we feel like we are not good enough. I cant give you the exact reason why we feel that way, its different for everyone, it affects everyone at some point in their life. It affects all types of people. I felt that way too and its the reason I opened my doors 10 years ago. I wanted to not only provide amazing products and an experience that you will cherish but I wanted to give back something more, I wanted to give back
I'll be the first to tell you that looks are not everything. There is not standard for beauty, we all possess it in our own ways, yet most of us fail to see it. Often we do not value ourselves . It can hold us back from doing things we want to do, taking risks we want to take, asking for that raise, pursuing something we love. When we do not love ourselves we do not take care of ourselves like we should and the cycle continues.
Break the Cycle
When I started this business, I wanted to be able to show woman that they are beautiful. No matter their age, shape, size, color or sexual orientation. I want you to see yourself and think "WOW, I am beautiful".
I want this experience and your photos to help you gain confidence, confidence that trickles into other areas of your life. Sounds a little crazy right? How can photos do that?
Well, its all about perception.
Your perception becomes your reality.
This can be a wonderful thing... or the worse thing ever. My focus is breaking your negative perceptions. Beauty comes from within and it shines through your smile, your eyes and your actions. I want to shift that perception of yourself.
Make it a positive one.
Remember, almost everyone suffers from self image issues at some point in life. You are not alone. People you look up to, people you think have it all, are perfect, yes, even those people often suffer from low self esteem or body issues.
Take that first step. That leap of faith.
Make that switch
If you can overcome your fears and obstacles to do this. If you had more confidence. What would you do next?
Think about it.
